Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How are your services different from other services that professionally help people organize their affairs?
A: We are a relationship, rather than a transaction, oriented system. Our services go beyond getting our customers organized. Once we’ve organized our customers’ affairs, we proactively keep them on track and address their little problems before they become big problems. More importantly, we aid proper communication between all service providers and make sure your advisors and your family have proper access to your affairs in the event you become sick or have an accident.
Q: When is the right time for Your Life Advocates to get involved?
A: Long before you experience unforeseen circumstances that substantially derail your health, your assets and your autonomy. We designed a system that is meant to proactively keep you independent and avoid costly mistakes.
Q: What if I already have advisors & caregivers helping me?
A: Many people have already surrounded themselves with caregivers and advisors. However, we work to make sure all of your advisors are working together and communicated with so little falls through the cracks.
Q: What is the fee structure for Your Life Advocates?
A: We charge a flat monthly fee. We are not commission based and do not sell additional product. We are professional, unbiased and independent.
Q: How often do you visit your customers?
A: We visit our customers at their residences once per month. During that visit, we make sure their affairs are on track, we discuss how they are doing, and then work as a team to create and implement solutions that are in the best interest of our customers.
Q: Does Your Life Advocates act as an agent/fiduciary for its customers?
A: No, we will not take control of a customer’s affairs. However, if the customer is in need of a fiduciary or agent, we will work with the customer’s advisors to construct a proper support system.
